Walk with Nature

It was another gloomy afternoon. Murky clouds were in motion again.

I took my camera and went down the narrow pathway built around the house towards the sitting area.

While I was lingering through the in-house farm, I couldn't stop myself from taking this particular shot.

The view was terrific. The clouds, the trees, and the rice plantations added to the majestic charm. I was standing near a little pond when I captured it.

The Jungle Mirage

I did not shy away from going out of my in-laws house that day. The previous day was very tiring as I had gone out to see Maha Saptami Puja at many places all around Margherita, Assam. I had walked a lot.

On that particular day, I thought of taking a nap during the afternoon. The inert clouds added to the gloominess.

Yet, I got myself up, took my camera and went out the house. This was a decision that made my afternoon engaging.

I took a lot of photos. But this one here, it is just behind the farmland inside my in-laws' house's premises near the southern boundary.

There is a pathway, a plant filled wooden boundary and some other plants and trees all around. This exquisite view made me feel like I was entering a jungle, all thanks to the cloudy atmosphere. So, that's why the name "The Jungle Mirage".
